The renovation of Prideaux Cottage see the first works carried out by KPK for the Prideaux Estate.

The old barn was used as a garage before KPK were commissioned to convert it into a one bedroom holiday cottage.

Walls were taken down with exception of the gable end which adjoined the boundary of the neighbouring property.  The property consists of a timber frame, slate roof and a stone front with surecave cavity, oak doors, power coated aluminium windows and bi-fold door to the rear.

To maintain the feel of the old barn the main living area now has volted ceilings and oak a-frames.

The bedroom has been kept minimalist with build-it wardrobes and oak doors.

The bathroom was given a volted ceiling with fully tiled walls and floor.

The newly converted holiday cottage will be called ‘The Wagon House’
